The Sport Center in Finland

Tapanila Sport Center provides the widest variety on indoor sport activities in Finland. Also notice the Health House in sport center with excellent testing possibilities not to mention our sauna, conference room and restaurant services.

Facilities for sports and sports supporting activities are totally 15 000 m2: from a floor ball arena to the biggest climbing center in Scandinavia, from an archery hall  to a bowling hall, from budo halls to gymnastics facilities, from a basket ball hall to squash courts, from cafés to conference rooms, from a tennis hall to a badminton hall, from facilities for physical training to gyms, from a library to youth facilities, from physical care center to a test station. Our facilities are used by many sports associations, other organisations, schools and private individuals practising sports.

The sport center has a yearly customer usage time of over one million hours. Young, middle-aged and elderly people who take care of their condition and enjoy exercising have found their own exercise world in the Sport Center.

The three buildings in Tapanila Sport Center. Erätalo (left) with its tatami carpets and aerobics halls is the oldest building established in 1960. In the Main building (center) you´ll find e.g. the bowling hall and the gym. On Climbing Centre (right) one can enjoy Scandinavia´s highest walls. Also please notice the big parking area.
